my name is Matthew Thomas, I am an independent filmmaker/content creator and photographer that is based out of dallas, tx. (chicago, il is my hometown and I will forever remain loyal) my first love was film, I began my career creating comedic youtube skits. that period brought to life my passion to tell stories which ultimately culminated in starting a film company with 2 friends of mine and releasing 2 short films. my love for photography began as I became inspired to “document” everything. The ability to creatively express myself opened my eyes to the beauty of Life. I am not a photographer that has a specialty or area of expertise. I photograph people, places and things that inspire me. today, (as a photographer) I am mostly inspired by nature.

SkyArt is a collection of creative expression.

I create Abstract Art through imagery of the Earth. I consider the weather an expression of the earths emotions and I use SkyArt to tell the story. I have been an artist in some fashion my entire life and I have experienced the same challenges that all creatives face. to this day, the best advice I have ever received is to just “create”.
